Watan News is an independent Arab American news media corporation, issued by Watan News LLC. It was established in 1990 by a Palestinian American journalist, Nezam Mahdawi, in Washington, DC, as a monthly paper publication.
In 1993, Watan News released its work from Los Angeles, California-based, as its headquarter. Watan News creates world-class content that informs millions of audiences of Arab immigrants in the United States.
Watan News became a weekly printed newspaper, as it is unbiased when covering Arab countries’ political issues. It has also a bright history in covering human rights issues that media outlets are unable to cover due to censorship issues.
Watan News has launched the first Arab news website on the network by the year 1996 in a way that contributes to supporting media and people’s voices over the regions.
We create our niche in the marketplace by providing true stories from its recourses, that are issued in New York, Texas, Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC besides California, and all over the world.
